CUCCIO hosts four types of core member events each year, providing opportunities for networking, professional development and collaboration:
- Three member meetings
- Six Board meetings
- An Annual General Meeting
- CANHEIT (Canadian Higher Education Information Technology Conference)
CUCCIO also organizes, or takes part in, additional stakeholder meetings with specific objectives of information sharing, consultation, collaboration and action. The Leadership Council for Digital Infrastructure serves as an example.
Although most meetings are face-to-face, members not able to participate in person are provided the opportunity to participate in a variety of ways throughout the year, including video or teleconferencing, post-meeting debriefs with the Executive Director and the availability of all meeting material on the members-only SharePoint portal.
